Shawn planned our wedding at the Ithaca Farmers Market. Everything turned out perfectly and just how we envisioned! She has great contacts and relationships with local vendors and was able to track down everything we were looking for.

Above and Beyond
Shawn was an absolute joy to work with. My only regret is not hiring her sooner in the planning process. Shawn put us in touch with phenomenal vendors within our budget and handled all of the coordination, she made our wedding day such a breeze. She was incredibly responsive, organized, and so patient with us as we had so many questions. From possible rain on the wedding day to a caterer falling through due to an emergency, Shawn had several backup plans and even monitored the weather to the minute so I could have the ceremony outside. It was an immense help and relief to have such amazing support. I can't recommend Shawn enough.

Responsive, organized and thoughtful: Shawn is the best!
Shawn comes highly recommended. She was always incredibly responsive to emails and meeting requests, and provided a thoughtful, well-rounded perspective to questions we had. Throughout the planning process, I felt supported and confident that we were on schedule due to her regular check-ins. On our wedding day, if anything went wrong, I had no idea -- the sign of a great wedding planner! Our day was was everything I hoped for and more. I felt like I could fully experience and enjoy the day since I felt so confident with Shawn's tireless behind-the-scenes work. Thank you, Shawn, for helping our day feel so magical and easy!

Stress-Free Wedding, Amazing Service
Shawn was an absolutely wonderful resource that made our planning and wedding day itself feel totally stress-free, giving us the space to enjoy our day with no worries. She has a way of figuring out just what you need when you need it. Her knowledge of local businesses is outstanding, getting us in touch with venues, florists, caterers, photographers and clothing designers that fit our vision and our budget. Her ability to coordinate all of our vendors on the day of was invaluable for us, and the burden she removed throughout the whole process was a gift we can never thank her for enough. Absolutely recommended for any of your wedding needs!

Wedding planner extraordinaire!
As we started to plan my daughter’s Ithaca destination wedding, we knew we needed a knowledgeable, local wedding planner. One meeting with Shawn, and we knew she was the one! She helped us identify and vet numerous vendors and then helped us through the next 12+ months of decisions and coordination. She worked with our caterer, rental companies, venue, band, florist, and photographer to make sure everything went off just as planned. She even helped with some planning for the rehearsal and post wedding brunch. She thought of everything, making the wedding day go smoothly so the bride and MOB could relax and enjoy the event. Our guests raved about the entire weekend! Thank you Shawn, for your patience and guidance!

Fantastic Wedding Planner. Highly recommend!
We worked with Shawn for our wedding in July'24 in Ithaca and got the Full Planning package. Probably the best decision we made. Shawn was with us through every single vendor meeting. Our venue required that we hire all the vendors, including catering, DJ, photographer, makeup, hair etc., and I cannot imagine the nightmare it would have been without Shawn. She is a thorough professional and will also give her creative input in terms of design. On the wedding day we had the best time only because of all the planning we had been doing for a year with Shawn. Everything went seamlessly because of Shawn's efforts.

Made sure everything was taken care of
Shawn has a lot of experience with weddings of many different types, from more traditional large weddings to smaller gatherings. She came to the table prepared with all of the ins and outs laid out that we needed to make decisions on including a lot of little details that would be easy to forget! She has relationships with lots of great local vendors as well, so it's easier to find sources for all your weddings needs. On the day before and the day of, Shawn took charge of making sure everything was in order and everyone knew where to go, what to do, what to say. It took a lot of the stress off us and we were so grateful for her presence. Highly recomend to anyone in the area :)

Best Wedding Planner EVER
Shawn is the best and we literally couldn’t have had our wedding without her. She was communicative, gave amazing advice and guidance, and was instrumental in coordinating vendors and schedules. We planned our Ithaca wedding while living across the country so it was paramount that we had someone in the area whom we could trust and Shawn proved to be that person by consistently giving stellar recommendations for vendors from our beautiful flowers to our delicious catering (which we weren’t able to sample beforehand but proved to be a wedding day hit with our guests)! Shawn even helped us navigate some family tragedy leading up to the wedding with kindness and understanding. You wouldn’t be able to find a better wedding planner if you tried, trust me.

Great Wedding Planner
Shawn was wonderful working with. My daughter's wedding had 2 separate parties- the adult reception and a children's party. She was able to handle both.She also was able to handle the last minute change do to some unexpected rain of moving the cocktail hr inside. Our catering manager told us he would not have been able to handle if Shawn wasn't there. I highly recommend her!

Shawn was amazing and knows her stuff
You might think to yourself, "Do I need a wedding planner?" Yes, you do. And, really, you need a wedding planner like Shawn. She's got tons of experience and knows what details have to be sorted out and when. Her advice was SUPER helpful. Also, she knows the local vendors in Ithaca/surrounding areas well and was very good at connecting us to vendors that fit our budget and vision for the event. And when it came to the big day itself, Shawn was on top of EVERYTHING: she coordinated with all the vendors in advance and ensured things ran super smoothly. We have nothing but positive things to say about our experience working with Shawn! She guided us through every step of the wedding planning process with such professionalism, patience, and care, making what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and enjoyable. Our wedding venue was a very blank slate, and she was so incredibly helpful in organizing and communicating with the many different vendors we worked with to turn it into the beautiful, personalized space we envisioned. From putting together a detailed timeline of the day, running us through the rehearsal, and masterfully managing the day-of setup, Shawn ensured that everything ran seamlessly and allowed us to fully enjoy the day without worrying about logistics and we can't thank her enough for giving us that peace of mind. Queen of weddings!!
Hiring Shawn to organize and plan our wedding was probably the second most important decision I ever made only behind proposing to my husband. I truly don’t know how anyone plans a wedding without her. We had lots of wild ideas going into this – we wanted a wedding that somehow combined my Japanese heritage and imagery with a rustic upstate NY barn aesthetic, not exactly the thing that Pinterest has examples of, and she took our ideas and solidified them into something coherent, doable, and beautiful all while respecting our vision. Among our other wild requests was to bring a grand piano into the barn so I could perform with my best friend from college. From a logistical standpoint, she is incredibly organized and responsive, sending out timeline after timeline to us and interfacing directly with our vendors, making sure that everyone is on the same page, every license is acquired, every truck arrives at the correct time, etc. With her we always felt that nothing could possibly be overlooked or go wrong. The day of the wedding she was there to help set up, and she was there at the end of the night to help take everything back down again. She decorated our pergola with the boxes of cherry blossoms we brought! She was 100% the guardian angel of the wedding day, making sure everything went completely smoothly to the point that my wedding day was ironically one of the least stressful days in recent memory. And it looked awesome too!!

Effective and efficient ray of sunshine!
Working with Shawn was such a blessing! I would hire her again in a heartbeat. Our venue did not have an onsite coordinator, so Shawn stepped in to set up all of our decor, coordinate deliveries, and make sure everything ran smoothly with the venue itself (drink service, food, band coordination and timing, logistical timing of events throughout the night, boxing everything up at the end of the night for us to pick up the next day). She was everywhere and completely unseen all at once. She was helpful in the months leading up to the wedding to answer any vendor related questions, and her locality to the Ithaca area definitely came in handy. She is an effective communicator, by email and phone, and an absolute ray of sunshine the day of our wedding at at rehearsal. I knew that I could relax with our big day in her hands. She also comes at an incredible price point, which is a major plus. Of note, I am very organized and controlling and was super anxious leading up to the wedding... she eased all of my worries while still allowing me to have my hands in the production of the wedding. 10/10 recommend!

Comprehensive, confidence instilling
Shawn came into our wedding plans when we thought we had most of the planning complete. We were looking for someone to tell us what we were missing and help cross off the final checklist items. We also needed someone we could count on on the day of the wedding. Shawn came through in a big way. She reviewed our plans with a fine tooth comb and totally took the reins from there. She got all of our vendors on the same page and took care of all of the day of coordinating. Awesome Planner!!
We are so happy we decided to hire Shawn! I was one of the brides who thought she really could do it all, and about mid-way through planning, I just felt stuck. We hired Shawn, and she was able to help us get vendors through her connections that we had issues finding before. The day of, she was AMAZING. I was unaware of so many little things happening because she just handled them so my husband and I could focus on our day. Our wedding ran so smoothly, and she was so professional at handling issues that came up! Our guests had a fantastic time, and I so appreciate her skills. Nothing but good things to say
I was really stressed about final details of planning our wedding, so I started reaching out to planners probably 6 months before. Shawn was the obvious choice. She is very organized and professional and had great ideas. She made sure all the vendors were on the same page and handled details like table set up so I didn’t have to. She asked great planning questions that i never would have thought of on my own, and her familiarity with the venue was invaluable as well.

Highly recommend!
Shawn was wonderful to work with! We went back and forth on whether or not we needed a planner but we ended up hiring Shawn for the full planning package. She kept everything organized with our vendors and was easy to communicate with. She was available when we wanted help or had questions but allowed us to still feel like we had control over all the decisions that went into our wedding. She made decor suggestions, facilitated vendor communication, calmed our nerves, helped lead our rehearsal, and created a detailed and much needed timeline. In addition to being incredibly helpful leading up to our wedding day, Shawn and her team were excellent in setting up and cleaning up at the end of the night which was a huge relief to us and our families. We would 100% recommend Shawn to anyone looking for a wedding planner!
