Gorgeous hand formed porcelain bowl. This is a large mixing/serving bowl 9.5inches across x 3.5 inches high. Cobalt Blue blue swirls with coppery green splashes dance across the surface of this porcelain bowl.

I roll out the porcelain into a slab and then carefully, drape the porcelain into a bowl mold. The inside its smoothed and joined. It dries for a day- removed from the mold and then the outside is smoothed and joined. It dries for two more days. Then I use cobalt stain and green stain to make the unique swirls and splashes. The bowl is then bisque fired and cooled for 12-15 hours. Then removed from the kiln, clear glazed to seal the stain and make it food safe and again fired to vitrification ( all pores in the clay closed). Another 12-15 hours.

Due to the time intensive effort to create this bowl we have a 2-3 week turnaround. If your bowl break during shipping, please send us a picture and we will remake and resend the bowl at no additional charge to you. Each bowl is custom designed and individual. The bowl you receive will not be the one shown, but similar and custom made just for you. It will have its own unique swirls and splashes.
